After sewing up views A and B of this pattern I knew View D was next. I scored this great on trend Aztec stripe jersey knit at my favorite local store. It was a $4.99 for 3 yards! (It had to be 4 yards because I still have 2 yards left.) That’s $4.99 for two dresses (I think I’ll make another dress out of my 2 leftover yards) I love being Frougie!
I’ve already expressed my love of maxi dress on my review of View B. So there’s not much more to say. This view still only has 4 pattern pieces, but this time the front skirt and bodice pieces are not cut on the fold. There is a smidge more work involved to create the wrap bodice and gathering at the shoulders, but it is still an easy project.
I am so pleased with the outcome, there will be more SOON! Next time I will remember to tack the front wrap skirt piece to the back piece to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions. The first day I wore it was a windy day and I was grabbing at the skirt constantly.

Would I sew it again? Definitely, I might try a solid.
