Made by a Fabricista: Zadie Jumpsuit

I feel like I’m late to this Pattern Theory Zadie craze, but better late than never, right? Read all the details about the pattern and fabric over on the Fabricista Blog. Read my quick review below:


Pattern: Zadie Jumpsuit by Paper Theory

Pattern Description: relaxed and easy to wear one piece that comes with the option of wide 3/4 length sleeves or sleeveless with a dropped shoulder. It wraps around the body and fastens with a tie with so there is no need for buttons or a zip.

Sizing: 6-28, I sewed an 16

Difficulty: 2/easy

Fabric Used: Cardinal Red Seersucker from Fabric Mart

Does it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Very

Likes:  No closures means an quick sew and easy wear. Loose fit means no fussing fitting.

Dislikes: I think I could use another inch and the hem and the ties could be longer.

Pattern alterations or any design changes made: None

Would I sew it again? Yes!

Would I recommend it to others? If you love a jumpsuits you need this one!

Conclusion: Perfect jumpsuit for those who prefer wovens and want a jumpsuit with out having to install a zipper.
