Floral Linen Skirt - Simplicity 2314
This skirt is the first garment I ever made using a pattern. I choose S2314 because it was the pattern used by Mimi G in her free Sewing 101 course. I was very nervous because I had read on Facebook and Blogs that patterns were tricky. Thankfully with Mimi's direction on how to select the right size pattern, follow pattern directions and simple way to insert an invisible zipper it was a success. Though next time I can probably go down a size. I HIGHLY recommend following Mimi's Sewing 101 course to make this skirt if you want to try a pattern for the first time or if you've had problems with sizing or following patterns in the past. I promise she will make it simple!PATTERN REVIEW Pattern Description: Learn to Sew pattern collection.
