Never gets old - McCalls 6886
What is there to say that hasn't already be said about McCalls 6886? If you are a knit fan you have undoubtedly used the pattern for a simple sheath pullover dress. If you haven't, you need to! I'm pretty sure McCalls will never stop producing this pattern. I HAS to be on the top 10 best sellers list (along with M6884 which I also love).Due to that fact that many of you are already familiar and there are dozens of reviews of the pattern already I'm just going to share my pics with you and a quick review! I sewed straight View A but added elbow length sleeves.I do want to say how much I love the fabric though. If you follow me you know I love black and white prints! I spotted it in my locally owned fabric store and had to have it. I feels like a scuba knit, but perhaps a tad thinner. I had no idea what I wanted to make with it so I grabbed 4 yards. This project took less than 2 so I still have 2 left. I've got to decide what else to make.Have a great weekend and scroll past the pics for the review. I'll see y'all (yes I'm southern) next week with a project I'm really excited about.Pattern Description: Close-fitting, pullover dresses have neckline variations, and stitched hems.
