Striped T-Shirt Dress: Kommatia Alice
Kommatia Patterns is a great company that provides a good blend of unique pieces like the Harry dress as well as wardrobe staples like this Alice t-shirt dress. Based out of Canada they're patterns come with both French and English instructions. Their latest patterns have also switched to more precise number sizing (2-18) instead of XS-XL. I didn't have an issue with their sizing before, as most of their patterns call for knits, but it's worth noting. They have also upgraded to layers patterns, so that you can simply print the size you need! I love this feature!
Every woman needs a t-shirt dress in her closet. It's a good look for running out to grab groceries, meeting friends for lunch or to a kids soccer game to be comfortable but still fashionable. I love this take by Kommatia because it's not tight enough to be form fitting, but not loose enough to be a tent, it fits just right!
This striped jersey knit has been in my stash for a while and I'm so glad I finally used it. I'm not sure of the content, but I believe it's a rayon blend, it has a somewhat slinky synthetic feel. This color combo of jade/turquoise green and navy blue is one of my favorite, second only to black and white...or maybe third - I do love black, white and red. I love a dress that I can wear with flats or sneakers AND pair with heels! You can also add a belt to emphasis your waist. I can't wait to wear this in the fall with a denim jacket!
