Checkerboard Cape: McCalls 7477

I have been meaning to sew up McCalls 7477 for the past few winters. After sewing New Look 6324 back in 2016 I realized I love capes and wanted a couple more. This checkerboard wool from Fabric Mart was just the neutral I was looking for to wear with everything! Very, a good project for a beginner.Likes: It's a cape, it's belted, stand collarDislikes: nonePattern alterations or any design changes made: I hand stitched the hem of the lining to the cape instead of bagging the lining.Would I sew it again?
