Simple Sweatshirt: Simplicity 1317
This is a simple pattern for a staple piece. A raglan sleeve, crew neck sweatshirt with two bodice lengths, full and 3/4 length sleeves and several trim options.
Fabric:
This lightweight terry cloth fabric is one of the remnants I picked up the end of last year from Fine Fabrics. The fabric was so light that I considered making a tee instead, but I thought a light sweatshirt would be good to have between the fake spring and back again winter weather we have this time of year in southeastern US. Only time will tell if it’s hefty enough to stand up to repeat wear. The remnant was only $5 and this only took about 1hr to sew so if not I won’t be devastated
