What I've Made: 2nd Qtr 2019
I am a little disappointed with myself this quarter. I've only sewn up 7 makes in the past 12 weeks. (*Well I've sewn a couple more but I've only photographed and blogged 7, but this is the case each quarter). Now I know some sewists average 1-2 makes a month, but I typically average around a make per week so I usually have 12 things to show come the end of the quarter.Keep in mind I love knits and I don't typically sew more labor intensive makes like fitted pants, jeans or blazers. Although I have been thinking about taking on at least one challenging project each quarter. I had to remind myself that being creative isn't a race, against others or myself. I had several work deadlines for May, my kids had tons of end of the school year stuff, their soccer seasons ended with a tournament and state playoff attempt, I celebrated my birthday, attended a friend's wedding and we're trying to sell a house.
